Bird on a branch

The second skills demonstration at school, second semester. Everyone had an assignment to design (using Rhinoceros) and manufacture three pairs of earrings for a retailer.

I modeled the earrings in rhino without the hook, then cast in silver. We had to learn to make a mold of the first prototype, and then cast the six pieces needed for the assignment. I soldered the hooks after casting for better structural integrity.
