TERMS AND CONDITIONS
– SHOP IS NOT OPEN YET –
Effective from 1.5.2020.
When a customer orders a product or products from the shop, the customer agrees to be bound by these terms and conditions.
The products/services are sold by Ujo (EU VAT number 28256956). Ujo sells products to private individuals of legal age in Finland and countries inside and outside EU.
All prices include value added tax (24%). Ujo reserves the right to change the prices.
Almost all items in the shop are made to order. I keep very little stock unless a sales event is ahead.
The products are ordered primarily from the shop via the shopping cart.
All orders are confirmed by email and include the total price of the order, shipping costs and products ordered. To receive an order confirmation, a correct email address should be provided when ordering.

For the Finnish clients the following payment options are available: online banking, credit cards, mobile payment, part payment and Paypal. More info about the options in Finnish here.
International customers have the following payment options: credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express), mobile payment (Apple Pay) and PayPal. More details of each payment method below.
Payment Service Provider
Paytrail Plc acts as a collecting payment service provider and is an authorized Payment Institution. Paytrail Plc will be shown as the recipient on your bank or credit card statement. Paytrail Plc will forward the payment to the merchant. For reclamations, please contact the website the payment was made to.

You can pay your order online with all major Finnish banks (Aktia, Danske Bank, Handelsbanken, Nordea, Oma Säästöpankki, Osuuspankki, POP-pankki, Säästöpankki, S-pankki and Ålandsbanken).
You can pay your order online with Visa, MasterCard and American Express. Credit card payments are easy and secure with the added level of security with 3-D Secure. Credit card information is not stored in the online store.
You can also pay your order with the following mobile payment methods: Pivo, Mobilepay, Siirto and Apple Pay.
Part payment services
Invoice and installment services offer consumers flexibility and payment time. These options are only available for Finnish residents and you can apply online. The services are offered via Paytrail by OP, Collector and Jousto. More info about the options in Finnish here.
If you choose PayPal as your payment option you will be transferred to the PayPal Payment Gateway where you can pay with your PayPal account.

Off the shelf products are processed and shipped within 4 working days. Delivery time for custom made orders varies from a few weeks to several months. Once your order has been shipped, you will receive a delivery notification with a tracking link to follow the progress of your shipment. Items will be carefully packaged in a gift box complete with a wax seal, and shipped as a parcel. More valuable shipments (over 500 €) will also be insured.
Delivery time in Finland is usually 1-3 days. Free shipping on all orders.
Your parcel will be delivered to your chosen Posti outlet or Smartpost Locker. You will receive a notification from Posti when your parcel is ready for pick-up.
Your parcel will be delivered to your chosen service outlet (Matkahuolto’s parcel locker, K-Market, R-Kioski or Matkahuolto). You will receive a notification from Matkahuolto when your parcel is ready for pick-up.
International customers are responsible for any customs fees, import duties or other comparable costs imposed by their country.
Ujo uses the services of Finnish Post to guarantee a fast and smooth dispatch. All items are sent as a Priority parcel.
Postal parcel 9,9 – 24,9 €
Priority parcel reaches anyone anywhere in the world. Items are always tracked and the parcel is delivered to the recipient’s address or the nearest service point. PO Box addresses cannot be used.

I take pride in everything I make and I hope you will be satisfied with your product. However, if you are unhappy with your purchase, please contact me via the contact page or send an e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org and inform me about the issue. I will do what I can to resolve the situation.
The customer has the right to return the purchased product within 14 days after receiving it. The returned product must be in the same condition as when you received it, and unused in the original packaging. The customer is responsible for the costs of the return shipment.
Please add the following info with your return package:
your order number, name, address and phone number
your bank account number
copy of the order confirmation from Ujo webshop

After I have received the returned product and checked that it meets all requirements, I will refund the sum of the order.
This return policy does not cover products which are produced or modified in accordance with the customer’s wishes. Please be sure of your commitment to your piece prior to purchasing.
If the package has been lost during transport, damaged or you’ve received the wrong item, inform me immediately by email at email@example.com.
If the package has been damaged in the mail, inform the postal office immediately about the fault, before opening the package. Make sure that you receive a copy of the notification. Inform me about the damage, preferably by email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
If there would be a defect in the product or the product is incorrect, I request that you are in contact with me within 14 days after receiving it.
